WHAT IS THE 'SUPPORT A CAMPER' CAMPAIGN?
The Support A Camper Campaign is a fundraising initiative to raise funds to send our campers with financial need to camp. Each year, around $80,000 is given out by Camp itself to assist those with financial need to be able to come to camp. Albrecht Acres has never turned away a camper due to financial need, and because of the generosity of our community we hope to never have to. Please consider donating to the Support A Camper campaign to ensure no camper will ever be turned away due to financial need.
WHAT DOES MY DONATION DO?
Your donation helps us support our campership fund which is divided out among campers who need financial assistance to be able to attend camp. Each year, CAA gives out over $80,000 in campership fees. This campership is to assist with campers who are attending one week of residential camp. Each week the actual cost for one camper to attend is around $900, but the fee for one week is reduced to $550 for each camper. The campership allows those who are unable to meet even this already reduced fee to receive financial assistance from camp.
Donations to the Support A Camper Campaign will directly support the camperships made to those campers who need financial assistance to be able to attend camp. We put together the graphic to the right to give a few examples of how far your donation can take us at Camp (however, your donation will only directly support the campership fund unless otherwise specified).
