- Share a desire and ability to work with adults with disabilities.
- Exhibit characteristics of responsibility, dependability, patience and a positive enthusiastic attitude.
- Be coachable and willing to learn.
- Be able to pass background and sex offender checks.
- Complete the staff application and interview process.
- Attend staff orientation and training from approximately June 1 to June 12.
- Be excited to share a great summer with great people!

responsible for the physical and emotional well-being of campers (people with special needs) during the campers' week at CAA.
Counselors supervise campers at all times of the day and are assigned to overnights on a rolling basis. CAA counselors will be,
on average, responsible for 3 campers during a camp session. Many of our counselors come back year after year, saying it is the

Programmers take the lead in our activity or program areas, making sure that program areas are ready for our campers to experience a fun and quality program. Program areas include “Nature and Science,” “Fun and Games,” and “Arts/Crafts and Music.” Individuals interested in programming roles should expect to spend time setting up, facilitating, and cleaning up their program area, and they should be ready to adapt activities to the needs of individual campers. Camp Albrecht Acres is looking for both cooks and kitchen assistants to prep, serve and clean-up meals for campers, staff and visitors. Full-time and part-time positions available with multiple shift options. Must be 16 years of age or older as of May 31, 2026, to work as kitchen staff. Apply Now!
